Land Acquisition Cost
The total project area is 1865 acres (755 Ha.). 740 acres in Bhawana village has been acquired at Rs. 7.33 lakhs per acre and Rs. 10,000 per acre has been paid towards compensation for structures.
For the same land, enhanced compensation and solatium has also been paid at Rs. 7.76 lakhs per acre, amounting to Rs. 56.76 crores, resulting in a total cost of Rs. 112.48 crores.
